'To Be Over' would be a tough one to perform sans Anderson. 'Sound Chaser' would stand a better chance, I think. It's more of a Stevie song anyway...some of his very best guitar work.

My favorite Dutch band is also one of my favorite bands period. Golden Earring turned out two consecutive albums, Moontan (1973) followed by Switch (1975) that I consider some of the best rock ever....

Generally speaking, the band is tighter than the 3rd show in the tour (to be expected). Rabin is much better! So glad to see it.

I was at the 3rd (supposed to be the 4th) show on the tour. I wish I had the opportunity to attend another show to see how far the band has progressed.

Maybe from a purely technical perspective, Pomeroy is a better bass player than Squire was. However, Squire was much more than just a great bass player. He was the "ultimate" performer. No one...

If Howe was with this band (with or without Rabin), it would be the closest to "Yes" as is possible.

The Relayer tour (1975) was my first Yes show. The ticket couldn't have been more than 10 bucks. Those were the days!

Anyone have an idea how much it costs to put a show like this on? I don't but bet it's not cheap. And touring is the main money maker for artists these days, not recording.

I agree that Wakeman isn't a "requirement" for the successful Yes formula (Relayer is my favorite), but to say they wouldn't have been very different without his contribution? Can't agree with that.

I would include Tormato in that run. Underrated album.

Without a doubt, Howe was by far the best guitarist that ever played with Yes. In fact he is one of the finest of all time period. I choose to include the Banks and Rabin eras even though the "best"...

In my opinion, Anderson and Squire and anyone else they played with were Yes. Any other iteration is a band playing Yes music.
