Sorry to hear that Steve, it is hard I know, particularly with 'new bands and albums' which is why we limit that side of things and certainly when you deal with niche products. Guys, when you do buy,...
There is a straight forward 2 disc version too guys with the new mix on it as well. The box set is very much a collectors set--hence why it has vinyl etc. All now posted on the Yes official site. .
Just to keep folks posted. This will be a March release. There will be 2 versions--one in a limited edition box set with 5.1 surround , vinyl and extras etc and a cut down edition too.
Will let...
Thank you!!

very pleased to announce we will officially be releasing the Steve Hackett and Djabe CD/DVD in January 2017. This is Steve with the rather splendid Hungarian band Djabe and is quite excellent. It...
Audio wise, nothing is from our end--everything came from the band--will just mention this now.
Good news is its number 44 on UK midweek charts .
It should though be available on itunes if you are happy to download as well, let me know if it isnt.

Band by the way are in top 75 this morning on Amazon in UK. Well done to all and thanks to the fans.
I do know its been discussed-- and if its a project by another label Im never at liberty to say Im afraid until they announce it.
Hey we have VDGG out this week and that may well not be your bag but pretty sure it will be HMV , I've seen the order and it was biggish!! HMV played a blinder with us on Hawkwind new album earlier...
Present is an ongoing discussion. With regards to 5.1 etc on albums, if it happens it is I think likely to be a project Mark does for Universal, I don't think they will let those go for licence.
we too keep our website updated. www.esotericrecordings.com --but obviously thats specific to our releases , and we do have a mailing list link on there.
well Im biased as its on our label--but personally I really liked A Grounding in Numbers--and I know the band did too. I also thought it worked well live as itw as shorter numbers, mixed in with...
he loved Nektar too --I know this. but I did know he was a huge Be bop fan!! (as are we)
Just a quick comment guys-- very good indeed--we would have been happy to have signed it!!! and they are all spiffingly lovely chaps.
we have very very little we ever license from Charly.
Not true in the Gilli Smythe case-- we bought out the catalogue outright from the family a little while ago and payments went direct to the family to help Gilli.
I think many of you will enjoy TFATD a lot, and you wont get a nicer guy than MAtt Stevens.
definitely by default-- it wasnt my music of choice when I met Mark , but grew to love some and like a lot.
Ah yes to me too, but I thought I would mention before we got the "these" arent Prog" kind of comments.
Ha, I guess Im in an unusual position here as Mark likes "a lot" . I would say his favourites that get most play are Floyd, Genesis, SuperTramp, BJH, Camel, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield , Man, Moody...
If I remeber correctly I think its on quite a bit of Alan Stivell--which I like a lot
there is a bit on the new VDGG album--and it sounds great--definitely a case of how its used
Number 18 on the midweek charts in the UK too--which I think may bode well for my VDGG album next month. We charted Hawkwind too. The difference is last time we had a new VDGG album, Amazon didnt...
LOL !!!
whats the tech spec on desk/PA and monitors etc-- can it be seated at all? and size of stage.(important for some Prog bands) Is it an easy load in/load out-- that kind of stuff is really useful to...
Certainly the best way with legit sites like YouTube is to have an aggregator like The Orchard (as we do) as it matches up anyone who goes around uploading --however nigh on impossible on the "non...
I will be very suprised if the big fans dont like this release!!
just to say Mick--thinking of you all.
quick correction--just to say this one doesnt have 5.1 --- my mistake. It does have a disc of unreleased material
We didn't always see eye to eye, but he was a great guitar player and the legacy is some really fantastic albums, hugs to Mo, Mick, Ron and Taff xxx. RIP Roye
sorry guys--I know we are blowing holes in some of your wallets. If its any consolation , its made Ant really happy that so many have enjoyed them. Its the last I believe of the ones with 5.1 too
I like this a lot. Pretty 80's sounding but then I lilke 80's Peter Gabriel
The reason I didnt add Gone to Earth is that it will be very first week in September due to a slight delay
The new studio album from VDGG 'Do Not Disturb' is now available to pre-order in both CD and Vinyl formats! Order direct from Cherry Red Records to receive an exclusive free retail campaign poster....
I will ask him!
Hi guys

Barclay James Harvest--Everyone is Everybody Else--3...
Released on Esoteric 29th July UK --hence why 5th August USA. Its rather excellent too. Was shelved at the time due to changes of personnel at the label, Gary fully involved with this one and was...
I think the main issue here is we took on this catalogue because Ant wasnt and had not been receiving due deserts at all and therefore the catalogue came back. Its a catalogue we felt should be...
I myself particularly like Your Time Starts Now on AGIN, I know its slowish and melodic but really, really reminded me of better Bowie and I thought it started the live show beautifully. Marks with...
Artwork comes from the band.
Release date 30th September 7654
VDGG new album will be September , just about to start the press release
The music is excellent, I've been involved with this, I hadn't pushed it here as the project is a photographic project and the Cd is kind of an add on , not sure yet if and how it's going to be made...
My thing with the Kickstarter is that the way it's worded is as if it would all just rot if they couldn't raise this amount! This is clearly not the case, labels like the one we work for would pay...
Thanks Steve, fingers crossed
Wish us luck guys, our new Hawkwind studio album 'The Machine Stops' is number 18 on the official midweek charts in the UK with the full week charts published tommorrow evening, really hoping for a...
Let's just say Gruno , I dont begrudge anyone doing a successful campaign and yes time is money and at the end of the day they can raise what they want and pay someone what they want and they have...
Just a comment from my end as it's something we have experience of, that's one helluva quote even for a ginormous archive, to catalogue and digitise , I would be interested who has been quoting them...
I would say 'Man' but again like Nektar or Caravan, may fall into the 'fair degree of success ' category. So if we need to go more obscure, I must admit I'm very partial to Wigwam and Supersister
It's all very polished and clearly well played and produced but doesn't do anything for me personally I'm afraid, as I tend to like ' a good memorable tuneful song' or more symphonic 'pastoral'...
They will end up having the same names I think, because a fair few bands I know aren't interested in doing them, don't like sailing etc
ha, love Peter.
september release and yes it's pretty Proggy!!!
we are also sold out of "At the Movies" at the moment-- however it may be repressed at some point, as I had lots of requests for it after it sold out. I really liked this one.
