Well, I already have two daughters, so this must be easy ;)

Aha! Boys are easier than girls, so you're right. I have 5 (all grown now) 2 biological and 1 adopted son, and 1 bio and 1 adopted daughter.

Cool! Whatever you do, don't let him get used to playing with iphones...

Always read to your child. Even before that know how to read or understand the words. (Hell, even before they're born.) The results can be immensely gratifying.

Thanks. Made it myself. I have a DVD of the 3D ultrasound. It's very cool.

Congratulations! That animation is so cool. When my wife was pregnant, 25 years ago, we got a static photo of a blob we were told was the child.

Ahhh...I thought the medical center provided you with that.

That's really neat. Well done. :up

Played 'im any PRAWG yet?

Try some Samla or Magma or ZNR or Marcoeur; worked wonders for my first son.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I play Prog every day anyway ;) My oldest daughter Idora was dancing to Yes' Talk today...She can actually dance to Anglagard's Kung Bore! She really can ;) Thank goodness we have very musical kids :D
My son? I don't know. We'll see. I come from a kind of artistic family, so I think it will work out well.

Well, your GIF above is dancing to Sound of Contact right now, so that's a good start. ;)

Congratulations! Mine are 6 and 4 - the eldest is a girl who likes singing along to the Strawbs and Fairport Convention (?!?) and the youngest is a boy who spends most of time dressed as a pirate. He's starting school in a few months time.

It's a cliche, but it's true: they really do grow up quickly, and act as a reminder that you're getting older as well.

They're both book mad - my son fell asleep tonight with a book on his head, and my daughter read me one of her school books all the way through.
